Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort and Spa hosts this year’s World Travel Awards Europe Ceremony held in Antalya, Turkey. Amid the worldwide economic uncertainty, travel brands all over the world have proven to be victorious.
This year’s host, Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort and Spa proved to be the perfect host of the night. The resort and spa exemplified the good spirit of the Travel awards by pushing the limits of travel and tourism quality. Since it opened in 2008, the golf resort has gradually been establishing itself as the perfect place for luxury with its gorgeous Mediterranean setting.
World Travel Awards is considered as “the Oscars of the Travel Industry.” It recognizes the best travel brand around the world. In addition, the award giving body showcases those brands that have excelled in the travel industry. Each year, travel brands are looking forward to knowing the best and the worst among them. Winning this award will make them widely recognized.
This year’s attendees came from more than 500 organizations around the world. These countries, mostly from Europe, participated in more than 125 categories. Some of the elite participants are CEOs of travel companies, government officials and ministers and tourism board heads. The event showcases popular acts such as Aydan Kaya and Fuse, Turkey’s musical pride. Moreover, international media such as Bloomberg TV, CNBC and CNN Turk, covered the most influential travel event.
The most popular brand of the night was Lufthansa. The brand won the award under the blue ribbon category as “Europe’s Leading Airline.” Other winners of the night are Le Bristol Paris as “Europe’s Leading Hotel,” InterContinental Hotels and Resorts as “Europe’s Leading Hotel Brand,” Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa as “Europe’s Leading Luxury Resort,” and Dubrovnik Palace Hotel, Conference Centre and Spa as “Europe’s Leading Resort.”
Turkey also enjoyed the night’s festivities when they won these awards: Europe’s Leading City Break Destination for Istanbul; and Europe’s Leading Tourist Board for the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism.
This just goes to show that people have been satisfied with what these hotels have offered. Some of their guests love the feel of temporary housing.
Oh really? I look forward to this. Too bad I missed this thing.
